A useful quotation starts with the application, dimensions, order quantity and destination. Confirm material, appearance, tolerances and packaging before approving production.
What should you include in a quotation request?
- Application and product: retail fixture, wedding display, organizer or furniture component.
- Dimensions with units, quantity, material thickness if known, and any critical tolerances.
- Drawings, reference photos, artwork and the desired color or finish.
- Expected load, indoor or outdoor use, assembly requirements and any applicable testing requirements.
- Destination country and postal code, required arrival date and individual or bulk packaging.
How should a sample be approved?
Agree on dimensions, edge finish, appearance, artwork position and assembly before sampling. Evaluate the sample under the intended use conditions. Record accepted changes in the production specification; a photograph alone does not verify load capacity or dimensional accuracy.
What determines price, MOQ and lead time?
Material, dimensions, fabrication steps, printing, quantity and packaging affect the quote. Ask for sample and production schedules separately. MOQ, available stock and delivery dates need confirmation for the specific design; this guide does not promise a fixed minimum or dispatch date.
What should international buyers confirm?
For Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia, state the destination and intended use. Confirm shipping terms, carton dimensions, protective packaging and who handles import formalities. Request relevant product-specific documentation when needed; suitability depends on the finished product and application.
